| 1. Slip one or two layers of stockinet over the
affected body part. |
| 2. Addition padding may be used for greater
protection of pressure points and bony prominences. |
| 3. Gloves must be warn. |
| 4. Open Hygia cast plus. |
| 5. Wrap spirally, tacking care to avoid
excessive tightness. |
| 6. Spray with water. |
| 7. Smooth and rub the surface to achieve good
contact between layer about 3-5 minutes offer immersion in the
water, Hygia cast plus is sufficiently cured to prevent
further molding. |

Product Description //:
Hygia Cast Plus is comprised of a knitted polyester or
fiberglass fabric impregnated with polyurethane resin.
Exposture of Hygia cast plus products to moisture or
water initiates a chemical reaction which causes the tapes to
become rigid. Finished casts produced from Hygia Cast Plus are
lightweight, radiolucent, and porous. |
